In Nuclear medicine they were pioneers with the first PET (positron emission tomography) unit in Valencia. Their leadership in Radiology was consolidated thanks to a PET/TAC unit acquisition.

Currently they are one of the few hospitals in Spain with PET CT 3 2 and magnetic resonance equipments in the same centre. They are a worldwide reference centre in radiosurgery, due to their therapeutic and research lines.

In urology, they have pioneered the use of KTP Green laser, a treatment that significantly reduces the side effects of prostate surgery.

In radiology, were the first to have the first TAC low-dose in Spain and Portugal which emits 40 percent less radiation. They have also been pioneers in providing magnetic resonance imaging of limbs.

In Radiation Oncology, they have incorporated a linear accelerator with a 120 micro-layers collimator.
